Here's a little peek at a crochet project that I started while I was on vacation over Christmas. I pinned this pattern a while ago and was eager to try it out. I decided that I wanted to use a yarn that would work up quickly and when I found this Charisma yarn at Michaels I knew it was perfect. I love how soft it is, this blanket is going to be very cozy! The label for the yarn recommended a size "L" hook, so that's what I decided to use and it's working great.
I definitely recommend the granny ripple pattern. It's really easy to follow and I love the geometric zig-zag design that it creates. This is the perfect pattern for crocheting in front of the television. It's simple and repetitive and it creates a fun and modern blanket...I'm hooked on this combo!
